Deliveries

As of 2026, Our delivery services are now being provided through a partnership with Midwest Transport. They have connections with multiple trucks with the capacity to deliver the way we have in the past.  There's no increase in our delivery fees as compared to our own vehicle, and we believe this will enable us to provide better and faster service to everyone. We do still try to get as close to a full truck as possible both to keep those prices low, and for the sake of the environment

Midwest Transport service also includes an incredible tracking link that allows you to follow the truck in real time as they deliver along the route. This means we are able to continue to offer the Meet the truck service.
(If your order does not meet the weight minimum, or if you want to save money on delivery, you can meet our truck at any of our other delivery stops.  Once the delivery route and stops are determined, we will provide you with pickup location options.  You will pay the same weight charge as listed below, but only a $15 consolidation charge rather than the full flat rate amount.)

Because leaving your school to meet a delivery truck isn't a realistic option, for schools with clay needs under our delivery minimum, we coordinate a "district-wide delivery".  Your order will be consolidated with other orders in your district (and in the interest of fairness, if you teach at a small school that isn't part of a large district, but you are in/near the boundary lines of a large district and don't mind waiting for them, you are welcome to select this option too.) Often these smaller orders do take a bit longer to coordinate, so please plan ahead.

Our website will calcuate the delivery cost for you, but we believe in transparency, so here's how the delivery charges are calculated:

  • Delivery Zone A: Roughly 40 miles from our store (includes the greater Kansas City & Topeka Areas) – $60 plus 3¢/# (500# order minimum***, 6000# truck minimum)
  • Delivery Zone B*: Roughly 40-80 miles (includes further out suburbs of KC and Topeka  ) – $60 plus 6¢/# (1000# order minimum, 7000# truck minimum)
  • Delivery Zone C*: Roughly 80-125 miles (includes Emporia, Salina, Manhattan ) – $80 plus 8¢/# (2500# minimum, 8000# truck minimum)
  • Delivery Zone D*: Roughly 125-200 miles (includes Lincoln, Omaha, Columbia, Wichita ) – $100 plus 10¢/# (4000# minimum, 9,000# truck minimum)

*Please note that for some remote locations, you may see delivery as an option at checkout because your zip code is in the bubble, yet it may not be realistic that we can deliver to you.  This is often because it's a point that we ONLY deliver to once a year, usually at the beginning of the semester when ALL the schools in that region are ordering. Outside of those times of the year, your order may not be sufficient to meet the overall truck minimum If this applies to you, we will contact you with options)

If you are in a hurry for your order, Midwest Transport can arrange a solo delivery for roughly $250 in the Kansas City area.  This gets you the whole truck and we can usually arrange this to take place within 2 days of your order.   Or, we have good freight options as well, and we are very excited to have negotiated excellent delivery service with FedEx that includes taking your order off of their truck and up to your door.

Here's what you can expect in our communication after you place your order: Email notifications will come from mail@brackers.com.  Please also note that you can always check your order status in your account on our website as well!

• First email you receive will be an automated confirmation of your order

• Next you will likely receive an email letting you know your order is awaiting delivery scheduling.  This happens once someone on our staff has reviewed your order and verified it fits within our delivery parameters.

• You may receive a second "delivery awaiting scheduling" email when we are starting to plan the route, and this would have more information than the previous one, including expected dates and possibly route order.

• Once we have met the minimums for the truck weight, and have secured a delivery, you will receive an email that your delivery is scheduled.  This will include the route order, and often even the preliminary tracking link.

• Finally, on the day of your delivery, when the truck has been loaded, you will recieve an email alerting you that your order is on the way, and providing the final information on route order as well as the tracking link.

• You will also receive an automated shipping confirmation email from our website, as well as a copy of the invoice, if your order was not paid in advance.

You can always reply to any of these emails with any questions or comments you have.
