(1"-1.5") Also known as white silk sponges. Silk sponges are a very nice natural sponge. They are similar to sea wool sponges, but their pore texture is much finer. They are useful in glaze applications such as stippling. These sponges are also highly absorbent.

If harvested correctly, sea sponges are a renewable resource and are ecologically friendly. This syringe-type applicator allows excellent control when applying engobes or casting slips. Snip off end of applicator to adjust for thickness of lines or for consistency of liquid being extruded.
This is the fan brush that is used in almost every AMACO glaze application video created in the last few years.
