Although they are lead-free and non-toxic, they are not dinnerware safe because of the possibility of bacteria growth in the cracks. After they have been fired to cone 06/04 and allowed to cool you can rub ink or dye into the cracks, in order to make the crackle pattern stand out the way it does in our color charts. We have added 140 Blue Crackle to this series.
