One custom silkscreened underglaze rice paper transfer sheet for use on greenware or bisque pottery. These extra large sheets come with a usable area of 19" long x 13" wide compared to the more common 8.5" X 6.5" sheet, making them excellent for larger plates and cutting into strips to wrap all the way around a few mugs. They can can be fired to any temperature and work well in gas, wood, or electric firings. I typically fire to cone 6 with a zinc free clear glaze on top. I have also fired them to cone 11 in a reduction kiln with great success. For specific design and color please see photo and listing title. Storage: For optimal shelf life (3 - 6 months), store your transfers in a sealed bag and avoid sun light.
Application: For best results, apply transfer on damp greenware. Greenware (Difficulty Level - Easy), Bisqueware (Difficulty Level - Medium).

Cone 6: Rainforest is a soft matte, emerald green glaze that will pool dark and glossy and break a light brown. Cone 10: Color changes to light brown with green variation where thick/pooling. Increased movement. Tip: This glaze can be very mobile; Recede coats to avoid run off on vertical pieces and practice caution in combination. Note: Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface durability.
Cone 6: Himalayan Salt is a soft matte glaze with light pink and burnt orange mottling that will pool a glossy clear. Cone 10: Color changes to an opaque, variegated gray/white that breaks gray over texture and can pool a glossy purple/blue when thick. Tip: This glaze can be very mobile; Recede coats to avoid run off on vertical pieces and practice caution in combination. Note: Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface durability.
Cone 6: Azurite is a soft matte, cobalt blue glaze that will pool dark and glossy and break a light brown. Cone 10: Color changes to green where thin/breaking and remains dark blue where thick/pooling. Increased movement. Tip: This glaze can be very mobile; Recede coats to avoid run off on vertical pieces and practice caution in combination. Note: Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface durability.
Cone 6: Landslide is a soft matte, rich brown glaze that will pool dark and glossy and break over texture. Cone 10: Color variation increases, producing darker red/brown hues where thin/breaking and brighter orange and gold where thick/pooling. Tip: This glaze can be very mobile; Recede coats to avoid run off on vertical pieces and practice caution in combination. Note: Not recommended for dinnerware due to surface durability.
Cone 6: Cenote is a semi-opaque, sky blue gloss glaze that has a variety of brown crystals that melt during firing.
Cone 10: Base color darkens. Crystals become darker and more defined.
TIP: SW-166 Norse Blue is the base glaze. For a lighter crystal effect, you may try applying two coats of SW-166 Norse Blue with a third coat of SW-189 Cenote.
Honey Flux is a creamy color that increases flow when layered over glazes. Opaque honey and cream at Cone 5 that shifts to a beautiful fluid white with honey flecks at Cone 6.

This particular transfer came in originally with yellow dots and a yellow center to the flowers. The next time we ordered, this same transfer came in with red. We don't know what it will be next time. If you have a preference of which one you prefer, please identify and if we do have your preference, we will send that one.
