Cone 06 oxidation (first photo): Gogh Iris is an opaque white base glaze with a variety of blue and green crystals.
Cone 6 oxidation (second photo): Base glaze fades – crystals fade and melt. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur.
A soft, pinkish purple at cone 05, darkens slightly at cone 5, then lightens when fired to cone 10 but still maintains its violet shade. A clear glaze accentuates the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature.
A dark, bluish gray at cone 05 that darkens to a deep, slatey shade when fired to cone 5 and transforms into a melancholic blue-green at cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature.
A light, ashy shade when fired to cone 05, darkens to a deeper gray at cone 5 then turns to a grayish black akin to elephant skin when fired to cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature.

Cone 06 oxidation (first photo): Produces a beautiful, smooth high gloss pistachio green finish and can be intermixed for custom colors.
Cone 6 oxidation (second photo): No color change. Breaks over texture.
Cone 6 oxidation (larger image): Green Tea is a variegated sage green glaze that breaks over texture and can produce a glossy blue finish.
Cone 10 reduction (smaller image): Color changes to a variegated pink/blue/green.
TIP: If the glaze comes out with more of a matte finish then re-fire to produce more variation in the glazed surface. Thinner application of this glaze will produce less crystals. Thicker application will produce more crystals. This glaze has a gloss finish. This glaze combos well with other Mayco glazes. If you like combos with Capri blue and oyster, try green tea because they are in the same family of glaze.
