This stainless steel part holds the center of any 4” die that extrudes a hollow form. One is supplied with the Accessory Die Kit which is part of the Stainless Extruder Package. The 4" extruder dies are made of 1/2" HDPE (High Density polyethylene). Which is extremely wear-resistant and completely non-contaminating. The top edge of the die cavity is beveled to compact the clay as it passes through, giving a crisp, more solid extrusion. In the hollow dies, there is a bevel on both the interior and exterior portions under each side of the bracket (which holds the center of the hollow dies) that helps the extrusion to "heal" after is has been cut apart by the bracket. This bracket fits into a slot machined into the top of the hollow die and is held in place by the barrel of the extruder. If a hollow die is mounted in place, the center part of the die is in exactly the right place and the wall thickness will automatically be even all the way around. In general, the walls of extrusions 3-1/2 inches OD or less are 1/4 inch thick, while larger pieces have 5/16 inch walls. We have a selection of stock 4” dies available & custom dies are quickly made and inexpensive.

This mold actually has a total size of 15 1/8" square, with the inner hump a 10" square. The top most flat peak is approximately 6 1/4" square with a depth of 5/8". You can trim the clay to the 10" square, or add a "lip" to your dish and trim at the 15 1/8" square.

The Laguna Pro-V Spray Booth uses two filters. The filters are custom made to perfectly fit the booth opening and are required for proper booth operation. We have durable, easy-clean, environmentally friendly Aluminum filters or economical, reusable Styrofoam filters to choose from. Both are custom made to fit the Pro-V Spray Booth perfectly.
Eight of these brackets are included with Base Shelf Truck Model to give five shelf levels (extreme bottom shelf rides directly on frame). It is an open-ended bracket. The shelf simply slides into place over it and is held in place by its own weight. Items can then be loaded or unloaded from either side. All shelf brackets can be adjusted on 2” centers without tools in just a few seconds and all trucks can hold as many as 22 plywood or heavy-duty shelves or 11 wire shelves. No wasted space.

To transfer the design to your clay slab, place slab on mold, and either use a heavy clay roller, or press firmly with your hands. Remove clay from mold and shape into any form you desire.
