Cosmos
Cosmos
A BRAND NEW cone 5/6 glaze line that exhibits unique and captivating visual effects reminiscent of cosmic or otherworldly phenomena. The Cosmos glazes are meticulously crafted to capture the mesmerizing beauty of crystalline glazes in every brushstroke. Transform your pottery into celestial masterpieces that sparkle with the brilliance of distant galaxies.
Are they Food Safe? Yes, but due to durability, these glazes are not recommended for food surfaces.
Unlike traditional crystalline glazes, Cosmos glazes create dramatic crystalline effects in a standard Cone 5–6 firing—no complicated schedules, holds, or extra steps needed. That means an easier path to success for your customers and a standout product line that’s simple to stock, recommend, and sell.
While these glazes can produce crystalline glaze effects with no special schedules, customers can use a controlled cooling schedule to increase crystal growth and take the Cosmos to the next level! We also recommend using this schedule if you want to glaze the inside of the vessel with a Cosmos glaze.
