Mid fire pink glazes in Gloss and Satin finishes. A chrome-tin pink that stuns in a delicate, soft hue when fired alone. Fire near pieces containing a chrome glaze to achieve depths of blushing reddish ombré.
Flashing is when you place a glaze containing a chrome oxide near your piece in the kiln. During a firing, any additional chrome oxide in other glazes will cause incredible blushing effects fading between delicate light pinks to rich dark reds. These subtle gradients occur whether the chrome glazes are applied on the same piece or even when they are on other pieces spaced near but not touching the pink glazes. Results will vary based on application and distance between the glazes.
