Tri-Calcium Bone Ash is the synthetic form of bone ash. While Di Calcium Bone ash is used primarily in raku glazes, Tri-Calcium is used in primarily all other kinds of glaze recipes. Bone ash is ground, calcined bone used as a flux in clay bodies and an opacifier in glazes.
