Garrity Texture Tools

Garrity texture pottery tools provide different patterns that allows you to make a unique yet consistent texture on your vessel or slab and develop new forms in your work.  All are roughly 3.5" square unless otherwise noted

Texture 1 helps you create small and medium waves on your project's clay walls or pointed curves, depending on what side of the tool you use. 

Texture 2 helps you create pointed ridges that are deep, shallow, small or medium. 

Texture 3 helps you create large and curved ridges on your clay vessel. 

Texture 4 helps you create an incredibly distinct pattern of peaks and valleys or a subtle wave and ridge pattern in clay. 

The long edges of Texture 5 combined with the textured short ends make this a versatile pottery tool for throwing on the wheel or hand-building. Use the textures for scoring slab, create unique shapes on clay vessels, or go big by using the 9" side of this rib to pull up your walls. size: 9" long x 1.25" wide

Texture 6 helps you create squared ridges with four different sizes of our most geometric textures.

Texture 7 helps you create subtle waves in small, medium, and large sizes. 

Texture 8 helps you create more distinct ridges on your clay vessel, but with a softened point for a more natural ebb and flow. size: 3.75" long x 2.75" wide

Texture 9 helps you create four different sizes of perfectly rounded ridges on your project's walls. You can throw a clay vessel to perfectly match the height of the sides of this tool or continue using it up a taller form and easily connect the pattern. Texture Mirco helps you create tiny ridges and hills on the walls of your clay vessel.
